read artist statement
After a ten-year hiatus from using color in my paintings, I have reintroduced it with newfound intensity in 2024. The new series — which I am calling Wonderland — serves as a reminder that in a world often overshadowed by sorrow and pain, pockets of beauty and joy persist. These pieces are painted on wood panels with acrylic and ink.
